Based on the revised Z4 Roadster, the Coup탩 is barely changed from Sept-ember"s Frankfurt Motor Show concept. Thanks to a stiffer bodyshell and tuned suspension, its handling promises to be sharper than that of the convertible.
With 265bhp, the 3.0-litre version should cover 0-60mph in 5.7 seconds and go on to a top speed of 155mph, but the M Coup탩 will be even livelier. Powered by the M3"s 343bhp 3.2-litre engine, it"s likely to do the benchmark sprint in less than five seconds.
Styled more aggressively than the "basic" car, the M Coup탩 gets a lower front spoiler, while the foglights have been removed and a larger air intake added to improve engine and brake cooling. One-off alloys, M badging and quad tailpipes complete the look.
Prices are unconfirmed, but the 3.0 should cost í‚á£32,000, with the M Coup탩 at í‚á£42,000. Sales start next summer.
