The nose is dominated by a distinctive grille and flanked by large headlamps stretching up over the wheelarches. In profile, chrome detailing picks out the sharp window line and huge tail-lights.
Technical details about the GT have yet to be revealed, but the show star is likely to be based on one of Geely’s existing platforms. The firm already has a sports car in its line-up. The imaginatively named Beauty Leopard is a budget coupé that’s tipped to go on sale in Europe by the end of the year with a choice of 1.3 or 1.5-litre petrol engines.
While the entry-level coupé will probably cost less than ÷£10,000, the modern styling and upmarket appearance of the GT could make it a fitting flagship for the Geely range.
