Now is a good time for anyone wanting to start building their own Jaguars. Not content with selling cars and its Browns Lane site, the firm is also offering up four giant presses, each of which can squeeze sheet metal with a huge 400 tonnes of pressure. The machines are nearly 30 years old, and were first put to use bending panels during the era of XJ6 and XJ12 Series II production.

First up is the Fiat...

First up is the Fiat Sedici, which we revealed with exclusive spy shots in issue 884. Built with the help of Suzuki, the car"s name means 16 in Italian - literally 4x4.

The compact SUV comes with a choice of 107bhp 1.6-litre petrol or 120bhp 1.9-litre diesel powerplants, while a transmission that is switchable between two and four-wheel drive will deliver refined road manners. Alongside the Sedici will be a new Panda 4x4 flagship, inspired by the Simba concept car.

The all-terrain styling includes new lights, a revised interior with a taller seating position, as well as updated bumpers and extra underbody protection. And the fireworks from Fiat don"t end there, as sister firm Alfa Romeo is set to reveal the 159 Sportwagon.

Although not as spacious as estate rivals such as the BMW 3-Series Touring or Audi A4 Avant, the Alfa is expected to challenge rivals with its stylish looks and sporty engine and handling.
