The main styling changes centre on the nose, with a pair of redesigned headlights accentuating the lines of the bonnet. These run into a fresh, slimmer bumper with a revamped and simplified grille section.

Still popular with buyers...

Still popular with buyers on a budget looking for unburstable reliability, the Micra was originally available with two engines, until a modern 1.4-litre unit was added in 2000. Forget scrolling through...

Forget scrolling through your carò€™s sat-nav system to find the right town. Audi A8 owners will soon be able to jot down their destinations by hand!

Reports in Germany have revealed the Ingolstadt firmò€™s forthcoming limo replacement will feature handwriting recognition technology. This will do away with the need to use fiddly digital keyboards or laboriously select letters with a dial. Instead you ò€˜drawò€™ them and let the clever software work out your destination.

Itò€™s not the first time an A8 has had hands-on gadgetry. Buyers of current versions can select the option of fingerprint recognition, which adjusts the settings of the driverò€™s seat, mirrors and climate control to individual preferences.

The new is model expected to be offered in two sizes: regular and a long-wheelbase version. It will be revealed at the end of the year, with sales starting in 2010.
