Hyundai is planning to unveil an all-new concept at this yearò€™s Geneva Expo, Auto Express can reveal. Sporting a dramatic new look, the compact HED-6 gives a clear indication of how the firmò€™s next-generation of SUVò€™s will shape up, and judging by this teaser sketch the future looks bright.
The show carò€™s muscular styling features swept back headlights, a hexagonal grille and completes its look with a set of mirror-finish 21-inch alloys. Innovations include a sculpted rear window made from hi-tech plastic instead of regular glass and LED daytime running lights, while under the bonnet thereò€™s a more conventional 175bhp 1.6-litre diesel.
Also on display at Geneva will be a sporty three-door version of the i20, due to go on sale in the second quarter of 2009, and the ultra-frugal i30 blue ò€“ the first model to feature Hyundaiò€™s ISG stop-start technology.
