The project aims to bring people together - mainly from outside the motor industry - and get them working on several projects over the year. Other Collective members are product designer Sam Buxton, DJ Ross Allen, 2003 BTCC champion James Thompson, skateboarder Pete King and artist Lucia Helenka.

The front end will be slightly toned down and the unusual sliding rear doors are set to disappear, but the Omega will definitely retain the bold profile and unusual rear end of the striking prototype. The car will debut at the 2007 Frankfurt show and Vauxhall hopes to have it in dealers by the end of that year.
