It"s been penned by students at the prestigious Istituto Europeo di Design in Turin, it"s a funky new crossover using green hybrid technology.
The two-seater combines sporty on-road handing with decent rugged ability. Under the aircraft-inspired plexiglass canopy and speedboat styling is an advanced off-road powertrain. A thermal electric motor drives a special hydraulic transmission linked to gearboxes in each wheel hub, dispensing with the need for conventional brakes. Also on the Italian institution"s stand were three supercars created by students with the help of UK firm McLaren.
