It’ll be three for the price of one on Kia’s Geneva show stand this year! The Korean company will be revealing a trio of concepts based on its forthcoming Soul compact MPV.



A new hot GT205 Turbo...

A new hot GT205 Turbo will also be offered. Named after its 205bhp power output, it covers 0-60mph in 7.2 seconds and has sports suspension. The five-door costs í‚á£21,350 and the Sport Tourer í‚á£22,350. The Laguna is on sale later this month, with a range of styling tweaks, a new dash and a range of Euro IV-compliant engines. All models get eight airbags, anti-whiplash headrests, keyless entry and air-con.

The 21-year-old starlet will test for McLaren this week at Jerez in Spain to let team chiefs gauge if he’s ready to step into the seat Spaniard Pedro de la Rosa currently occupies. McLaren boss Ron Dennis confirmed: “Lewis will test this week, but whether anything comes out of it to change our current thinking for the Brazilian GP, time will tell. The test is not an evaluation of his capabilities as a driver. That is not the objective. It is to give him more mileage on a different type of circuit and to learn things that are important for us for Brazil. No decision has been taken, but as and when it is we’ll announce it.”
