MINI fans may never own the firmò€™s electric version, but the new entry-level First is already a hit. The budget car accounts for nearly a quarter of the brandò€™s sales since its summer launch.
From July, 1,346 Firsts have been snapped up. Thatò€™s 24 per cent of the total figure of 5,726 MINI sales during the period. The carò€™s basic spec makes it the cheapest variant to date, with a starting price of only Ò£10,950. In comparison, the One ò€“ previously the most affordable MINI ò€“ sold only 327 units in the same period.
