This is a first look at the Tramonto, the debut creation of his own company, Fisker Coachbuild. And there"s definitely something of the DB9 about it. Full details won"t be revealed until next month"s Frankfurt Motor Show, but the car has 610bhp on tap and can sprint from 0-60mph in only 3.6 seconds. The grille and headlights are hardly blazing new trails, though! Only 150 examples of the Tramonto are being built, but a second model is due next year.

Maserati"s latest stunner...

Maserati"s latest stunner has announced its arrival to the UK in grand style. The convertible version of the GranTurismo coupe, called the GranCabrio made its world debut at the Frankfurt show last month, but this latest event was all about one car.

Taking place at London"s Royal Horticultural Halls, and co-hosted by Andrea Antonnicola, Managing Director of Maserati GB and supermodel Jodie Kidd, the event attracted over 400 guests including a selection of celebrities. Household names in attendance included celebrity chef and Maserati fan James Martin and London Saracens rugby star Fabio Ongaro.

The first right-hand drive examples of the Maserati GranCabrio will reach the UK showrooms in April 2010 and prices will be confirmed nearer the release date.
