Believe it or not, this stunning looking sports car isn’t from a European, American or Japanese manufacturer – it’s Chinese!

I"ve been predicting...

I"ve been predicting it, and – surprise, surprise – my prophecy has been realised. It’s now official: the great pretender touted as the alternative to the car has finally priced itself out of the market. News of the research...

News of the research is timely after the fatal crash in Berkshire earlier this month. Another plan is for bollards to stop drivers trying to cross just ahead of the train.

Meanwhile, a train operator in the US is experimenting with wire loops buried under the crossing, similar to those used to measure traffic flow on roads. Finally, Japanese boffins are perfecting a system of video cameras. They monitor the danger zone, and trigger a warning, if a car is "seen" on the track.
