And the Philip’s compilers have certainly been busy, as this atlas is one of the most user-friendly publications we have seen. It has an up-to-date listing of speed camera locations across the country, and the three miles-to-an-inch scale is easily legible. Roundabouts and multi-level junctions are clearly displayed, while motorway and trunk road service areas are also marked out.
Drivers of larger vehicles are catered for, too, as the atlas has dimensions of roads that are less than four metres wide. The Green Atlas squeezes all of this information into 256 A4-sized pages, and in keeping with the ecological theme, it has been printed using bio?degradable paper and glues.
