Scotland"s first SPECS...

Scotland"s first SPECS digital speed cameras have been installed. The A77 between Bogend in Ayr and Ardwell, Girvan, has a poor safety record, and the devices have been introduced to reduce the number of casualties. A spokesman for the A77 Safety Group said: "SPECS cameras are already in use in

parts of England, and there has been a very encouraging drop in accidents at their locations."
