The 422 is designed to drastically cut the moisture that builds up in garages and workshops during wet weather, and can remove up to 21 litres a day. Water is collected in the integral container, or it can be piped outside. An auto defrost facility ensures the 422 does not ice up, and a two-speed fan speeds up moisture collection.

The gadget is the brainchild of Barbara May and James Shippen, who recently drove from John O"Groats to southern Italy without getting out of their MPV to prove the Indipod"s worth! James, from Bromsgrove, Worcs, explained: "A fan fills a nylon cover with air to provide privacy. It works in most vehicles - you simply plug it into the cigarette lighter."
