NASA has set up a division to develop flying cars. The American agency responsible for putting people into space now wants to put drivers in the air. It plans to have a single-seater ready within 10 years and a four-seater by 2019. The theory is that motorists would fly between airports and drive only on local roads.

The show is open now, running until May 28th with all areas free to enter. Now in its 10th year, the show attracted a quarter of a million visitors last year.
The other UK show newcomers include the revised Jaguar XK, Volkswagen Eos, Subaru B9 Tribeca, Audi Q7, Range Rover Sport HST, and the Carver One bike/car crossover.
Other delights to be seen at the show are stands featuring Aston Martin, Bentley, Corvette, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche, TVR, and the écurie25 supercar club.
