Itò€™s the most expensive...

Itò€™s the most expensive car ever to sell at auction. This black 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa has just been bought at the famous Leggenda e Passione auction in Maranello by an unknown bidder. Selling for a record ò‚¬9.02 million, the historic Ferrari broke the previous record by ò‚¬1.98, a mark set at the same event last year.



Called the F600 Testarossa...

Called the F600 Testarossa, the model will be the first Ferrari to wear the badge since the flat-12-engined 512TR. The name Testarossa means red head, and refers to the fact that the cars bearing the title have all had the top of their engines painted "rossa".

The striking Mesa concept...

The striking Mesa concept is built on the platform of the next-generation Sorento, due late next year, and features a powerful V8 engine. It"s the work of Kia"s California-based design studio. Company vice president Yong-Hwan Kim said: "The Mesa exemplifies the future of the SUV market and is a glimpse of the dynamic designs to come from us."

Thanks to a monocoque construction, rather than a separate ladderframe chassis, the high-end 4x4 is designed to offer car-like road manners, yet still provide genuine mud-plugging ability.

Inside it"s luxury all the way, with dual full-length sunroofs and individual captain"s chairs. Those in the rear are kept entertained by a DVD player and a surround-sound speaker system.
