Thereò€™s obviously...
Thereò€™s obviously no such thing as putting on a brave face at GM. News that the firm faces financial crisis should have brought the tooth-whitened marketing execs out in their droves at the LA Show.

With a 168bhp 2.0-litre TDI engine under the bonnet, it will be the Spanish maker"s most muscular oil-burner so far.
Equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox, the hot compact MPV sprints from 0-62mph in 8.6 seconds and has a 129mph maximum speed. On the outside, it is distinguished by 18-inch alloys and beefier bumpers. Inside, the FR features figure-hugging sports seats along with silver detailing.
The car shown here is a concept, but apart from the paint scheme the production variant is likely to be virtually identical when it goes on sale in the UK early next year. A petrol version, with the VW Golf GTI"s 197bhp 2.0-litre FSI engine, is expected later.
Meanwhile, SEAT will also display new sliding seats for the Altea and Toledo at the German exhibition, plus a revamped Alhambra range which includes a 138bhp 2.0-litre TDI.
